Hot Events: April 25th, 2019

Concerts:

Eric Clapton - Eric Clapton will play a few shows on the West Coast this fall. The dates will serve as a run-up to his Crossroads Guitar Festival, which takes place on Sept. 20 and 21 at the American Airlines Center in Dallas. The three dates include a Sept. 11 show in San Francisco, Las Vegas on Sept. 13 and a gig in Phoenix on Sept. 14.

Billie Ellish - Hot off the launch of her Billboard 200-topping debut album, When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?, Eilish embarked upon her fourth headlining tour in April. The 67-date trek, which kicked off with her first appearance at Coachella, will be the “bad guy” singer’s biggest to date, including stops at two iconic venues: Colorado’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre and New York’s Radio City Music Hall. The tour should be a full-scale visual manifestation of Eilish’s nightmare-pop, albeit with a familial touch: “Our dad is in London right now, building the spider that we’re taking on tour,” Eilish’s writer-producer, tour guitarist and brother Finneas told Billboard in March.

Dave Matthews Band – Don’t miss this iconic band on tour this summer!

The Owl Tour will follow Zac Brown Band's Down the Rabbit Hole Live tour dates, which stretch from March 1 through April 27. Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real and Caroline Jones will be supporting the band on their Summer 2019 tour stops, which include shows in Bethel, N.Y.; Irvine, Calif.; and more.

To Kill a Mocking Bird - Atticus Finch, a lawyer in the Depression-era South, defends a black man against an undeserved rape charge, and his children against prejudice. The world premiere of Academy Award winner Aaron Sorkin’s new play, Harper Lee’s To Kill a Mockingbird, directed by Tony Award winner Bartlett Sher (Oslo, The King and I), comes to Broadway in a production starring Jeff Daniels, Celia Keenan-Bolger, Will Pullen, and Gbenga Akinnagbe. Published in 1960, Harper Lee’s debut novel To Kill a Mockingbird was an immediate and astonishing success. Now, for the first time ever, Harper Lee’s open-hearted dissection of justice and tolerance in the American South will be brought vividly to life on the Broadway stage.

Frozen – Disney's 2013 Oscar-winning film comes to Broadway, a full-length stage work told in two acts—the first and only incarnation of the tale that expands upon and deepens its indelible plot and themes through new songs and story material from the film’s creators, including Kristen Anderson-Lopez (Up Here, Winnie the Pooh, In Transit), EGOT-winner Robert Lopez (Avenue Q, The Book of Mormon, Up Here), and Jennifer Lee (Zootopia, Wreck-It Ralph). In fact, this new stage production features more than twice as much music as the film.
